   I've searched the forum here, and the plugins repository, but can't find a working plugin. I tried http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/xml-sitemaps/ but the sitemap never shows up and my support request on their forum has gone unanswered.

   What's a good plugin to automatically create a sitemap.xml file for WPMU?

   Answering my own question here...

   This one works http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/xml-sitemap-feed/

   But the instructions are a little off. It says upload the complete package content to /mu-plugins/ - but if you do that your entire site will break - front and back.

   You need to upload the entire unzipped package - not just the content. The difference is the files all reside in their own directory (except xml-sitemap.php).

   Blah, I fail... using that plugin isn't quite working. The sitemap displays but the status code is 404 - Rx Status: 404 not found

   :(
