   Is there a plug in that automatically inserts a message into a post that says something along the lines of "This post is 2 weeks old and information may be innacurate, please check our homepage for up to date information."

   look at the yellow box.

   If not is there a plug-in that automatically deletes posts after a specified period of time?

   You definitely don't want to open a can of worms by deleting posts!

   What you need can be done with a simple modification in your theme files.

   Do you know what exactly needs to be modified? Because to be honest I have no idea where to start to do this. I'm using the Inove theme btw.
