   Hi!
   I need a plugin recommendation (or any other possible solution) as I've combed through all available plugins and none suited my needs.

   I'm working on an image website where I want to allow people to download a version of the image displayed but I have a couple of conditions:
   1 - I would like to count downloads;
   2 - I would like to have a short url (like mysite.tld/download.php?img=bla and not mysite.tld/wp-contents/long/and/revealing/full/path/to/the/file.jpg);
   3 - I don't want to create a download link to each file, as there will be thousands. I just want to add the code to the template.

   Any suggestions?
