Need a custom blog aggregator - willing to pay! (3 posts)

I have recently installed WordPress 2.1 and I need some customization that I am willing to pay for if anyone out there can help me.

Basically, rather than using this site for my own blog, I want to aggregate blogs from a bunch of different places, as follows:

    1. I specify the list of blogs and assign a category to each one (users can also submit this information, but I would still need to approve each blog).

    2. On the homepage, people see a list of the most recent 25 (or some other number) blog entries. Each entry includes the time & date, the name of the entry, the name of the blog, and what category it's under. Maybe also the first 20 words of the text.

2a. When someone clicks on the name of the entry, they are taken to a page within my site (not the external blog site) with the full entry. On that page, they can also click to visit the entry in its original blog (in a new window).

2b. If they click on the name of the blog, they are taken to a page within my site providing a brief description of the blog and a list of the most recent entries. There is also a link to visit the blog (also in a new window). Clicking on any of the entries on this page produces the same result as 2a above.

2c. If they click on the name of the category, they are taken to a page similar to the homepage (with a list of the most recent 25 entries, but only from the specified category). Clicking on the name of the entry or the name of the blog produces the same results as in 2a and 2b above.

    3. Of course, I want to be able to import as many posts as possible from the blogs on the list in #1 above, and to have the site update itself regularly via cron and RSS.

If anyone can help, please message me, along with cost and projected turnaround time.

Have you been to mugshot.org. They have an aggregator. Basically you just want a bunch of RSS feeds to go to one site right?
