• Hi, I am new here , and to wordpress in general, but I have begun a (potentially ambitious) new project, and am trying to make the best I can with it.
I have searched for the answers I need, and have already found a few varied responses, but I think im hampered by the fact that I dont necessarily know the right terminology, so searching is too generic to come up with a helpful solution!
Either that, or my question is obvious and im just missing something!

Anyway, what I want to do:
I will be making a site where I will be posting various types od media (mostly pictures/drawings) on a weekly basis. At the moment, I am using the webcomic plugin on my practise WAMP setup, as it gave me the option to have a navigatable series of images, with a next/previous buttons, and the ability to have a blog post connected to the image.

However im now having issues, as ideally would like to have multiple posts during that week, all attached to one page. But then, when a new “week” starts, possibly with a new picture, those posts all go back a page, and a new home page is started.

    For example.

    Current page = picture1 + post1 by me + news update
Previous (last weeks) = picture2 + post2 by me + news update + post by coauthor
Previous (week before) = picture 3 + post3 by me + etc etc

So each page of posts would have to be linked. I figured the easy way would be to have each page linked to a specific post date, as I could backdate any updates to say they had been posted on that date…. but I couldnt find anything on wordpress to allow me to navigate back and forth by date..

The pictures can be seperated from the blog entries, if that helps, but they would have to be linkable. I could just put in a link on each picture page though, and vice versa with the blog pages. But it would have to be a link thats not on the menu bar, as that is the same for every page..
Any help or advice would be really appreciated. Sorry to go rambling, but I would like to get a basic structure sorted out before I start posting up content, and im trying to avoid convuluted bodge jobs if I can!

    Thanks again
    Niru
