Navigation help? (5 posts)

    I have a simple navigation between posts in my blog. It basically adds 1 to the current ?p= to go forward and subtracts 1 to go back.

    The problem is I would like to seperate this into categories. I need the navigation to go to the next or last post within its own category.

    Any ideas?

    This is the code I use for navigation.

    <?php previous_post('%', '', 'yes', 'no', 1, '') ?>
    > > || Home || < <<?php next_post('%', '', 'yes', 'no', 1, '') ?>

    <?php } ?>

    I could query the DB to pull up only threads within the desired cat then build my navigation around that...does anyone know of an easier way?
