Navigation doesn't work

The navigation both using the arrows and pagination doesn’t work with the slideshows transition set to ‘Cross Fade’. They both work fine when set to ‘Direct Fade’. I may need to use the ‘Cross Fade’ option on some of my slideshows and want the user to be able to navigate through it manually if they’d like. Any ideas on why they don’t work under the Cross Fade option?
