   i don't want that extra white space

   I'm not sure what white space you are referring to -- the nav bar looks okay in Firefox on a Mac. What browser are you using and what is the problem? The link in your first post works now, but I still don't get what you want changed.

   BTW, EXCELLENT site (issue in particular).

   EDIT -- Okay I reread your post and get now that it is upon hover that you want to change the white space -- I'll look at it and post back...
