• I created my website with the Customizr Theme and I love it. However, on mobile devices (android or apple phones) the navigation bar does not work and you are stuck on the home page. I have tried all types of browsers and its seems to be a problem with the theme and not any browser. Can you please help?

    See what I mean and visit xcinex.com from your mobile device.

    Thanks,
    Cihan Atkin

    Have you tried deactivating plugins to explore whether any could be responsible?

    The menu does work. It’s just that it “collapses” on mobile devices to become a three-bar menu button. Click this, and the menu drops down.

    Other sites do this too. E.g. http://www.theguardian.com/uk?view=mobile

    @andrew: Yes I have de-activated all the plugins and the drop down menu still does not work.

    @electric Feet: I know that the menu collapses. However, when clicked on, it does not work. You cant get to the other pages.

    @xcinex can you try reinstalling the theme?

    Ah. I had that problem when I had the “Admin In English With Switch” plugin installed. Swapped it for “Admin In English” (without switch) and it went away. So there are incompatibilities on that button with some plugins.

    @andrew, I reinstalled the theme and same problem continues.

    I have deactivated all the plugins and still the drop down menu on mobile devices is not working. I did not have a Admin in English with Switch installed. However, just to try, I installed the Admin in English without Switch and the menu still doesn’t work. Help!

    OK… I fixed the issue. I had removed the footer note and I guess when you do that, the navigation menu for mobile is affected. I reinstalled and kept the footer note and everything is working fine.

    Now, can someone update the Theme so the footer can be removed without affecting the navigation menu?

    Cheers

    The white footer? Yes: edit class-main-footer.php and replace

    <p> &middot; &copy; %1$s <a href="%2$s" title="%3$s" rel="bookmark">%3$s</a> &middot; Designed by %4$s &middot;</p>',
    					    esc_attr( date( 'Y' ) ),
    					    esc_url( home_url() ),
    					    esc_attr(get_bloginfo()),
    					    '<a href="http://www.themesandco.com">Themes & Co</a>

    with
    <p></p>
