[resolved] Navigating/Paging Custom Post Types? (5 posts)

I can get something approaching paging by putting the next_post_link and previous_post_link in the loop for the new query If I put the next_post_link/previous_post_link outside the loop it links to the last new page/post I made.
The Codex doesn't cover paging custom post types and I haven't seen any examples. So I'm wondering if you're even supposed to be able to page custom types at all.

That will do it! Thanks MichaelH! (They should include a link to this page from the custom post type page--unless they have and I just didn't see it,either).

All, I'm following this thread and any other related thread because I have similar problem.

Now I got the paging links, but when I click on the next link to move to 2nd page, it shows Page Not Found error.

    I'm using /%category%/%postname%/ as permalink.

When I change the permalink to /%postname%/, paging works fine.

Any idea to resolve the problem when using the first permalink?
