   a few weeks ago i asked in this forum how one was to navigate through older posts under edit in wp-admin. i did not receive much of an answer so here i go again...
   in the wp 1.1 beta i had installed, when clicking edit all i received was a simple search form, but no more other navigational features such as "view last x posts", search-by-date or search-by-category features.
   please check out this img to understand what i mean...
   now i discovered in the latest wp screenshots here that this was not a mistake but for some reason intended...
   but i need and use those other navigational features often.
   especially when trying to clean up my comments from spammers.
   for some reason the comments load in the wrong order, [how can i fix that?] showing the very first comment ever posted to my blog back when i started it on top. the search form is simply not enough to navigate comments.
   questions:
   why were the other navigational features taken out?
   is there a technical reason, a bug maybe?
   is there a hack for this?
   how can i build them back in?

   Damn. I've deleted that image from my space .. I'll see if I can put it back for you.
   The mass editing is, I believe, in one of the new builds, but I couldn't tell you which one ..
   Not sure about your other questions, but have you installed the Blacklist hack ?

   no, i have not installed the blaclist hack yet. that would help some with the spammers alright...
   you mentioned "mass editing". there is some such button under edit --> comments. but i dont see what it does. nothing seems to change after i click that button. whats supposed to happen?

   not here.
   i am using mozilla and safari on mac os x
   could this be fixed in newer 1.1 beta builds?

   I'm using 1.2-alpha and it's working there.

   wait a minute? 1.2 alpha? i did not find that release anywhere

   It's in the nightlies and CVS.
