In page titles in the Firefox or IE title bar, the word “name” is appearing before the page name and blog name. For example…

name The Vision – Frontier Morgantown

Anyone know what might be causing this?

Try editing your theme’s header.php file and looking for “name” in association with <title></title>.

Did your header.php turn up anything?

Also, if you are using SEO pack Plugin then can you check your settings as that may be injecting something it shouldn’t. So check custom entries in the settings page etc.

Yep, it was the header file. I’d been looking in the page template to no avail, but problem solved! Thanks for the help, all!
