Hi — Just activated your plugin tonight and have been able to set it up okay except for one problem: In my preview, at the very top (where it should begin with an author name) it’s showing my author name as “Name associated with @cultofpedagogy” instead of my own name.

I think part of the problem is that I don’t use my own name as my Twitter handle, so I just entered the site Twitter handle in both the Creator and Site fields in the General settings. So why doesn’t it at least just use that two times? I also updated my user profile to include the Twitter creator information.

I have a new post to put up tomorrow and would love to get this working — hoping if you are in France you may get this soon and be able to tell me what to do!

    Thanks.

Hi, there’s no problem in fact, I just do not want to set up a sign in Twitter just to show names instead of screen names but do not worry your cards will be fine.

In the new version of Twitter API, a request must be authenticated so I cannot grab these info without sign in Twitter.

The preview is just a hint, some visual demo of what could be your card rendering. The most accurate tool is the Twitter’s validator.

    Thanks for the fast response!

So after the post goes live, the tweet will actually use the right name?
