   My user id and password, no blog site yet, can someone step me into getting to dashboard, my page, very confusing how this all works.

   So what have you done so far? Have you gone through the installation steps and set up a username and password? Or was this some automated install?

   I set up a user name and passwrod, about a year ago i had a wordpress blog site, and when i came back on to work on they said to reset the password, so i did but now i do not get back to my original wodpress blog site. If I set up my user name and passwrod not do i have to install to get a wordpress blog site,?

   So are we talking about wordpress.org or wordpress.com? The difference is one you install yourself, the other you sign up and get a blog that's hosted by WordPress. It sounds like you are using the hosted version, which these forums are for the self hosted versions. You'll get better help here if that's the case.

   I used to have a .com version, self hosted I think. If I am doing daily blogs isn't this .com version pretty good?My old handler used to be jimmyspringett.wordpress.com but If I use now I do not go to my original wordpress blog site? And since I now have a new user name and password might have changed and can not go back to old site?

   Right now, I have only the new user name and password, no dashboard or home page, so If you have a moment and can step me through, a lot has changed since i was blogging a year ago.

   Again this forum is for the self-hosted version of WordPress and yours is the WordPress hosted version. I've never used that before so you'll get better help going to their forums.
