• I’m running WordPress 1.5.2 on my webpage, along with beta 1 v96 of the K2 theme. My problem is that in the “leave a comment” portion of a post, the ‘name’ and ’email’ portions aren’t showing up, and presumably no one can register, either. I’ve previously tried to reinstall WordPress, although not recently. I’ve also searched the forums to the best of my ability. Help!

Moshu: I’m not sure I understand.

I just just just found another post that helped – I moved to WP from MovableType and I had a “blank” user in my user database. So now the name and email fields are showing up. However, when someone new tries to post a comment, they get an “Invalid security code. Press your browsers back button and try again” message. I have no idea what that means.

It can be a blank user, I agree (sorry, forgot about it). In my defence let me say that 90% of similar posts are due to the fact that the user doesn’t log out, and many WP themes don’t show the two fields for logged-in users.

I just left a comment on your site without any problem – it even told me the comment is waiting for moderation.
