Have you, or your host, been doing any database restores by chance?
Are you using any “theme switcher” plugin ?

im using dreamhost. this is been happening since i upgraded to 2.0.2
Are you using a clean install of WordPress? Try disabling all of your plugins and see if that helps.

hmm it keeps happening more and more often now. its upgrade from 2.0.1 i guess i can delete everything and start again.

ok i deleted everything and started over again using the same config file.
worked for a day but i check today and its switch to the default again.
should i delete the default theme directory? maybe copy all the files of the desired theme into that directory?
If we are talking about this site: http://www.drazin.org/ I am wondering how does it happen since you are not even using the WP theme system.

just anohter site im working on. id rahter not post the link to it yet. but i copied the theme to another directory and set it to that new one and it seems to be working so far…
