MySQL trouble

I’m a designer, not a developer, so this is a new language for me altogether… I downloaded The Data Wizard for MYSQL, but there’s no way in the program, to point to the correct file… Usless…

Is there a way I can point to it in Dreanweave CS3? What’s the path, and how do I set this up so wordpress.org knows where it is?

I’m also having trouble with config.php… God there’s a million questions! I’m bound to get at least one of them wrong. Could someone help me through this mess please?
