   I did a manual upgrade to the latest version of WP. At the bottom of all the pages the following message displays.

   WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1]
   SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT ID) FROM

   The pages are not showing up properly (I assume as a result of this error). The index page displays for every permalink and archive page.

   Has anyone seen this before and/or know how to fix it?

   I have contacted my webhost support and this was their reply:

   We have checked the database for errors and there aren't any. Please check to see if the developer has any insight to this as it is an issue with the mysql calls made by the script.
