   Hai,
   My site is getting an internal server error:
   http://nautilus-amsterdam.com/wp/

   The errorlog gives a lot of:
   'MySQL server has gone away..' errors (but I get this error many times and the site never crashed because of this)
   The latest error:
   [14-Dec-2011 14:48:16] WordPress databasefout MySQL server has gone away bij query SELECT * FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_approved = '1' AND comment_post_ID = 422 ORDER BY comment_date_gmt ASC gemaakt door require, require_once, include, comments_template, get_comments, WP_Comment_Query->query

   I tried this fix but it doesn't help

   Can somebody help me?

   You will need to check with your host see if you Mysql server problems. In phpmydmin see if you still have your database on server.

   Hi,
   I will contact the host. But:
   the database seems working fine. I also have an old version of wp running, with no content, and this also works (all though the theme is broken):

   Switch to default theme and see if that is working

   Can you tell me how to do that if I only have ftp access?

   You mean you can not log in wordpress admin if so using ftp log in and on right box browse to wp-content/themes folder in themes folder you will have your theme rename that theme like add -hold after the name.

   looks like you have permission problem where do have your wordpress files and folders are they in wp or wp-oud folder

    may be you have the urls wrong in Settings>>>>General as they should be http://nautilus-amsterdam.com/wp
    where did you get
    http://nautilus-amsterdam.com/wp-oud/ from.

    the two are not connected. wp-oud is an old installation, which i don't use. In wp I installed a new wordpress installation and it already runs for a few month. I just get a lot of errors in the errorlog on 'MySQL server has gone away bij query'. Do you think this has anything to do with it?

    I get 500 error when I go on http://nautilus-amsterdam.com/wp and all your links on http://nautilus-amsterdam.com/wp-oud/ are pointing to wp so there is problem your setting up.

    wp-oud was first set up in the wp folder. Thats why the links still go there..
