[resolved] MySQL database and domain name issue (5 posts)

    Hello

my database is returning an IP address (for example, http://84.63.22.15/cat=3) in the web browser.

This is because I installed wordpress and established the MySQL database BEFORE my domain name was transferred over to my host.

Now my domain name is fully transferred and my database is configured for the IP address instead.

Does anyone here knows how to replace the IP address with the domain name in phpMyadmin panel so that all my queries will return the domain name instead of the IP (http://www.mydomainname.com/cat=3).

    kindly appreciate it..

i belive you just need to sign in to your wp-admin and change it to your domain under your general options...
