MySQL Connection Problems?

    Just installed Hemingway last night and a few hours ago I started having database connection errors.

    I ran myisamchk several times and all is well there. I use Yahoo as a server and they have had problems in the past, so it may very well be them. But I wondered if the theme could be doing it.

    Trying to connect gives Cannot Connect error, but trying three or four times in quick succession resolves the problem. For the moment. It then recurs.

    I think it seems unlikely that a database connection error would have been caused by the Hemingway theme.

    You’re right, designsimply.

    I used to run Weaver II and when I switched to Hemingway, which I love, Weaver II left a Plugin (yes, a Plugin) which I forgot about deleting. It was trying to call to the DB and causing intermittent problems.

    This makes me an idiot for not checking the Plugins first!

    And again: love the Hemingway theme!
