• Hi, total newbie here trying to install wordpress on my site (or use it as my site). I’m comfortable with the instructions besides the MySQL components. My host supports MySQL but what do I actually have to do with it?
    Im sure this questions sounds totally dumb, but thanks to anyone that tries to answer it.

    Here’s a message (extract I received from the provider). Does it sound reasonable?:

    Please note that your account currently does not have MySQL support.
    You can install MySQL via my.kangaweb.com>>General Settings>>Install
    a MySQL database.

    The price for MySQL would be as follows:
    $33.00(AUD) setup, $3.30(AUD) per month.

    They are providing very good plans and i am running 20 wordpress sites on it without any problems.
