[resolved] My WordPress Site Suddenly Has Ads. (5 posts)

Firstly, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. I couldn't think of a forum that would fit for this topic, so I chose this one.

For some unexplainable reason, my WordPress site now is showing ads above the comments section of my posts

    Scroll down.

I'm posting this because it literally started happening randomly. This WordPress site is hosted by myself in a Ramhost VPS. No shared hosting and I have full control over my server.

At first, I thought my Mac was infected with something because I experienced a random kernel panic a few minutes ago. When I loaded my last blogpost I scrolled down and found this ad:

I asked a few friends to confirm if they were seeing ads and that it just wasn't me. Both friends I asked, both friends reported an ad. One of them even saw this beauty right here:

I have no idea what caused this, and I ask you to please help me shoot it down. Most likely this is being caused by a plugin, and I understand plugins need to get money from somewhere to survive. How could I test what plugin is causing this, shall it be one? Trying one by one is going to be time consuming, and knowing myself, I will eventually break something if I go that route.

I'm currently googling and people who have had this problem are people using WordPress.com.

This is a wordpress.org site which I installed from scratch. There should be no ads at all.

HAHA, actually I'm the one who placed that ad. I completely forgot about it because I hadn't touched my settings page in a while.

    Sorry for wasting your time!
