HELP! I installed the “easy-digital-downloads” plug-in, set it up, and tried to add an item to the store. When I hit “publish”, that was the end of my website. Going there just gives a white blank page, same thing with trying admin-php or whatever that is. Does anyone have any idea what might have happened? I don’t even know where to begin to look. As near as I can tell, the server (Bluehost.com) doesn’t have any problems; I can access it with Cyberduck to upload to it. Any ideas appreciated!

Sometimes plugins do that kind of thing – you can use Cyberduck to delete that plugin –

You are a saint; I deleted the plug-in and I’m back. That’s kind of a scary phenomenon; now if you can help me out with one more question: What’s the best way to back my WP site up? Should I just grab the entire folder in which it resides and download it? Many thanks, again!

LOL – I don’t know about sainthood, but you’re welcome :). Yes, that is rather disconcerting – fortunately most of the time, those things don’t do real damage.

There are a number of ways to back-up – you’ll want to do your files and database. See:
