My WordPress Site: Austin Auto Insurance Agents

Hello everyone/wordpress community. I have been working really hard on this new wordpress site and I am excited to share with everyone. First I want to explain the idea and project then I will include plugins and other things I used to build it.

Austin Auto Insurance is a very competitive field in Texas. The county in which Austin, Texas is located is not very big but there are over 1 million people living there. And there is a growing number of transplants to the Austin, TX area because the economy is booming. Well this means more and more people need the required auto insurance policy. So naturally these auto insurance agents are needing great Google placement.

I purchased a script from Premium Press called Directory Press and installed it as a theme in the wordpress build. I also installed a variety of cool plugins to rate agents, review insurance plans, pull Google Maps, etc. to enhance the functionality of the Auto Insurance Directory. I then entered all the Auto Agents into wordpress as “posts” and organized them using tags (zipcode) and categories (types of insurance providers each agent offered).

I didn’t have to adjust the template files that much (besides CSS of course) because I used the widgets and plugins, which includes most of the PHP and HTML coding needed.
