   Hey all,

   Ive ran into a little problem today when it seems that some spammer used a vulnerability in and older version of wordpress and was able to inject stuff into my database.

   To give you an example

   http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&scoring=n&q=site%3Adbtechno.com&btnG=Search

   google news picked up the feeds that the hacker injected.

   Now my question is how did this happen and how can i prevent this from happening. Will this issue be fixed if and when i upgrade to the newest version ? IF i must upgrade to the newest version will this have any effect on my theme ?

   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   this is a duplicate post. and if you want to help prevent it from happening, than you keep up with upgrades, and stop being an inattentive webmaster.
