   My webhost was doing work on their servers this morning, and my WordPress on one site completely stopped working. I have a few WordPresses on the same server, but only this one, single WordPress will not load. My browser keeps trying to load it, but it just fails to do so.

   Then, I go to the wp-admin, and I allow it a few minutes, and it says my database needs to be upgraded, so I allow it to do it. It completely fails, and it gives me a whole page full of errors. It doesn't really help.

   I ask for support from my webhost, and they give me this:

   It looks as if the trouble is with the CGI scripts, this causes a reset/timeout sort of issue. Next are a series of 404 or not found errors.

   Try taking a look at the FastCGI code you are running. I'm not sure what the root problem is ans I'm not sure what was supposed to be loading.

   I e-mail them again,and they say this:
   Hello,

   It appears to be because this file does not exist:

   [Thu Jul 3 21:41:00 2008] [error] [client 74.245.203.40] File does not exist: /home/kelp/public_html/animejuice/bleach/bleach-episode-121/

   Well, the bleach folder isn't supposed to exist in the first place...
   The animejuice folder is where WordPress is in. The Bleach folder is imaginary, that's how my permalinks are set up for categories, but I don't know why it would look for an actual folder named bleach.

   Oh yeah, when it does ask me to upgrade the database, here's what comes up a lot:
   WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away]

   I don't know but my website won't load either. My control panel loads and shows me the error 404 but the site won't load so maybe wordpress is down?

   Mine also vanished, but I host it myself so it can't be anything to do with the WordPress global systems.
