    Hello, my website DDLTown.com is built with WordPress and it was working perfectly until the other night it started to automatically redirect me & other visitors every now and then to "Braffic.com" and today it started to redirect me to a website called "motometalrims.org" so, it would be great if you guys can help me with this, thanks in advance.

    When scanning with Sucuri.com your website is not coming up with any issues.

    Do you have ad script from adcash.com or any affiliate ad programs running? Which theme are you using?

    @Krishna, yes I ave ad scripts from adcash.com, and my theme is "Downtown Theme - YOOtheme"

    Update: I've removed all adcash.com links and its still redirecting to several websites. I don't know what to do now?

    If you switch themes, do you still have the issue? This would check to make sure the redirect code is not in the theme.

    @gschaefer,
    Please start your own thread, your problem is not the same despite similarities.

    @graphical_force I think it's not the theme because I've been using this theme for few months and this issue has started to show only 3 days ago, since the site is starting to be sort of popular & active!

    @graphical_force if you may tell me how would the redirecting code in this case look like I can search the theme files..?

    graphical_force asked you to switch themes to find out if the problem is theme-specific and it is a basic troubleshooting step. If you do not want to cooperate, what support/ assistance do you expect from us?

    Help us to help you.

    Your main problem seems to be the links appearing in your site that link to sites of questionable integrity. They may be output by a plethora of aff links and ad scripts that you run, or injected by your theme.

    Additionally, as we do not support commercial themes, please contact the theme's vendor for support.

    I think this code will redirect your blog to that site. Just remove it

    <script type="text/javascript">
                    setTimeout('Redirect()','');
                    function Redirect()
                    {
                            location.href = 'http://www.braffic.com';
                    }
                    </script>

    i do have exactly the same issue and have tried switching themes, disabled all plugins and searched my mysql db and complete site folder with a text string search but without any luck..

    this is a nasty hack and it's being injected somehow?

    If such code exists and it is not caused by plugins or themes, then just removing it won't address how the code got there in the first place.

    exactly Andrew and besides i have search for all the possible terms used in the hack and can't find them in the DB or any of the entire wordpress sites files so it must be using encrypted code of some sort.

    very nasty. i hope i find a way to fix it as my host tells me my database backup has been not working for the last week or so.

    Thanks Andrew, Bluemad and Krishna. dear @gschaefer would you please let me know if anything new happened as I'll definitely do the same?

    FTR: I've removed WP-INSERT plugin like 2 hours ago and the site's been working okay since then, not %100 sure yet, if it redirects again I will keep you posted.

    @gschaefer excuse my naïveness, but I'm a WordPress beginner and I was actually willing to use VaultPress for backup so, it would be really nice from you if you can just tell me which is better :)

    Could be a DNS server/system that has been compromised...
