   what the heck is going on. my website was up and running yesterday now it sais Error establishing a database connection
   This is so effed up you guys!

   may be your wp-config.php file is damaged somehow. Downlaod that file and make sure your database password and usename is there.

   you will find wp-config.php file on your wordpress root.

   If your website was working fine yesterday and You have not made any changes and you get error Error establishing a database connection I would check with your host before doing anything see there is server problem
