   I am a newbie to wordpress and blogging. I have produced a website using wordpress. When I enter my URL in my browser address bar, I proceed to my site normally. I noticed that there is a "edit" link on my pages and when clicked on the visitor is taken into my wordpress admin area with full access. How can I prevent this. Please????

   Now go to your admin area and log out.

   Did that "edit" link go away? ;-)
   It should only show up when you're logged in as admin.

   The edit link only appears when you are logged in as someone with editing privileges. Visitors to your site will not see the edit link.
