My website doesn't load on Explorer (7 posts)

When users try to access my site, using the latest version of Explorer they get a error dialogue box saying:

"Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://www.bbdialog.com/. Operation aborted."

The site appears behind the error message, but doesn't work. However it works perfectly in Chrome, Mozilla, Safar, and older versions of Explorer. I'm not a technical user, so whatever the solution is, it has to be idiot proof :)

It loads on IE8 on Vista, with one error. Sadly the error message is truly useless.

File not found: http://www.bbdialog.com/wp-content/themes/thesis_151/custom/custom.css?071609-90739: Not Found

According to http://www.xhtml-css.com/check# that custom file is not found. Mabe that's what's blocking my IE7 . After showing your site it indeed pops up with an error and quits after giving OK.

Yep. henkholland is right. It is loading a 404 page for custom.css. I've never seen a bad CSS file crash a page though. And like I said, it loads in IE8.

"Operation Aborted" is an IE bug triggered by certain types of javascript in a plugin, theme, widget, addon, or code that you yourself added.

Well, how about first checking the theme's directory on the server for the "MISSING FILE"? Apparently your theme has a custom.css in themes/thesis_151/custom/custom.css? That's the file where it stores some settings, leaving the main style.css unchanged for easier future theme updates.
It should be there from the upload or it was (was not) created upon them installation? Check the site of the theme itself.
