    Hello,

I'm a newbie designing a web with wordpress. The URL is http://www.naogu.es and if you open the page with Chrome the header shows too big and lose the dimensions I have set for it. I don't have this problem when opening the page with Firefox or IE so I guess it's not a problem with the code but with Chrome being unable to read something from it.

Can anybody help me? Bear in mind I am new and I can only edit the CSS or the functions.php to fix it.

Thank you very much in advance!

    Fernando

Start by sorting out the markup errors. Then move onto the CSS errors.

Ok...I already knew I had errors. I now know hoy many of them. Let's start with the HTML code...the validator has detected 11 errors but, how can I fix them? I have downloaded the index file from my FTP but when I open it with Dreamweaver I have only a short code and nothing similar to what the validator shows me.

In the CSS validator I have detected more than 400 errors, but I will figure it out on a later stage. Let's start with the html. A clue? Anyone...

Sorry if I'm annoying, I am starting an online course soon, but in the meantime any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks!

You also need to checked header.php, sidebar.php, footer.php and any function within functions.php that outputs markup to your home page.

Thank you for your help esmi. I am now trying to figure out how to edit the html code to fix the errors. I will later go to the css and php files. But as I said before, I can't edit it with the dreamweaver and I don't know why.

    Thanks!
