   Can anyone help explain why my downloaded WordPress version 3.0.5 isn't showing the latest and greatest? For example, I understand it's supposed to offer Home Post Widgets, Footer Thumbnail Widgets, etc. but mine is not showing any of those widgets. Can anyone help?
   BTW, if it matters (I'm a newbie) I have WordPress 3.0.5 through iPage hosting and am using the Luxury Theme 1.4

   Your theme may not support the features you are looking for.

   WordPress has a number of features which must be supported by themes. Widgets can be supported anywhere, as can post thumbnails (in widget form or not), but all these things are functions of a theme

   True, except my theme's creator, Luxury theme by cudazi, has several video tutorials that show otherwise. According to my theme's version and my WordPress version, I should have the quick and easy Widgets. Any other ideas?

   Well, since it's theme related, I would recommend you ask the theme maker

   Maybe they have a forum, or something...

   Since its a paid theme, I can't really dig into it to see how it functions..... Is there any good documentation that comes with the theme? A readme file or something.

   I just contacted cudazi (theme creator) in hopes of getting some direction from him.
   And again, since I'm a newbie, I'm embarrassed to say, but I don't know where to get a readme file and certainly don't want to bog you down with these issues! :)
   But we'll see what cudazi says and of course I'll be trying to find all my answers in forums. I really appreciate you trying to help and I welcome it! ...

   Wait, do I need to plug-in or upload a special Widget feature to add special Widgets?! Seek and ye shall find.... :)

   You know, I have! Watching it again would be my third time (...is a charm?). I'm thinking that something may be broken in the "Editor" section of my theme. It's the only thing I can think of.

   And the video doesn't help because I'm missing the Widgets and Post Thumbnail features he talks about. That's why I posted this in the first place...I don't have all the features that are supposed to be there...
   But if you find any other video tutorials, I'd be grateful! Thanks!
