   Last year I set up about 30 users to enter basketball game scores that would then appear, through an RSS feed, on one of my web pages. This worked fine all year. Now, a new season is starting and these same users are not able to see the "publish" button anymore. I have changed nothing what so ever on that site or in Word Press. What do you think happened? I logged in as one of the users and the only buttons they see are "Save as Draft" "Save as Private" and "Advanced Editing." Thanks for any help

   What WP version?
   And what is level/role of your "users"?

   Version 1.5.2. All my users are level 1, two of them are level 2 (not sure why). But they were all able to publish themselves last year as level 1.

   I am sorry, but I can't remember the settings from such an old, old version.
   Even in those versions changes in settings rarely happen without human intervention...

   The latest stable version 2.3.1. Did you consider upgrading?

   yeah, I guess I should upgrade. I didn't realize I was so far behind. But, this is an application that was part of my hosting providers bundle of apps I could choose to install. Aren't they the ones that would need to update it? Thanks

   I was able to raise each users level to a 2 and now they can see the publish button.
