Well this is my theme that I've been toying with for a while now. Based off equix with pieces of connections, kubrick and a few others. It validates and I've tested it in IE6 and Mozilla. A simple wp managed "landing" page, smart archives and a wpg2 embedded Gallery2 install. I still need to theme searching, comments and make it more accessible. (i.e. change my px's to em's or %'s)
You can check it out here: http://www.marcnjami.com
I'm looking foward to any thoughts and suggestions!
I like it. I think you have done a great job with a wonderful theme (Equix) and I love the pictures as your headers. Nicely done.

Thanks... :) Once I get the above mentioned items in place and clean it all up, I hope to release it for public consumption. Hopefully I can get some more feedback and user comments first...
Cool home page, more of a home page than the usual jump-right-in blog. I'd suggest changing the main links at the top to read "weblog" instead of "is this a weblog?" and then simply "archives" instead of "weblog archives." My first impression was, you were trying to avoid being 'just a weblog' but then you use the word twice in your main links.

Good point... and thanks for the look see. More eyes help on the little things. :) I have taken your advice (at least partially) and changed the archive link. I kept the other one simply cause my odd sense of humor is entertained by the"?" lol... That is also the <?php bloginfo('name'); ?> tag since it isn't in the header anywhere.

Awsome... Thanks for the peek! I got to check of my site yesterday on a Mac using IE 5.2 yesterday. 85% of the site looked as it should, but the header images wouldn't show, and my wpg2 embedded gallery was all funky. Instead of displaying in nice pretty rows they were in a single column that made lots of scrolling necessary. Since only about 1% of everyone that has even hit my site uses IE 5.2, I'm not to worried about it, but perfection sure would be nice. :)

I just stumbled over this theme whilst following links to WPGallery2 - and I have to say it is one of the nicest, cleanest themes I have seen in a while. If I ever graduate past "hacking" and into designing my own, this is something I would be very proud to do.
Nice job - hurry up and release it! :o)
Monkey, how did you go about doing a WP managed landing page? Did you use a plugin or write the code yourself? Excellent site.
Its very attractive, congrats :)
It's very nice and clean. I am not good enough in CSS2 and PHP yet, so I can only tweak a theme a bit. But your site is a good example thanks!
I am trying to get this look nice: http://melodiefabriek.nl

Love it. I'm not a huge fan of equix, but you really made it into something great looking. Good Job.

interknox - I had to write the code myself, but it was pretty simple after I figured it out. I started a thread here a while back: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/31209 and you can read about some of the challenges I had there. :)
Since I have spent so much time as of late supporting users of our gallery2 | wordpress plugin I have not had the time needed to fix up my theme and make it ready for release. Now that K2 is out I want to borrow some sweetness from K2 and encorporate it into my theme... :)
