• When I went to my site http://www.uglymutts.com it keeps coming up as a WordPress Install site. That also happens if I try to log in to my wordpress admin page.

I was updating a page, clicked on “preview changes” and this is what I got instead of my page.

    http://uglymutts.com/wp-admin/install.php

Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful. This is a non-profit dog rescue site and I just might be hung if I lost it.

    Thanking you in advance,
    Karle

  • I don’t know what you mean by “it keeps coming up as a WordPress Install site” but I just went to your site and it looks fine. Then I went to http://uglymutts.com/wp-admin/install.php and it said your site is already installed. Seems fine to me. Maybe you need to clear your browser cache or something like that.

I am now receiving this message when I clicked on refresh:

You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.

I get so anxiety ridden with these things!!! ahhhhhhhh

Okay, I will try that – so it appears it is just on my end then?

What URL are you refreshing when you get that message? Your site looks fine to me.

Thank you so much SS Minnow – I went and tried the site on Internet Explorer and like you said it was fine so it must be just my Firefox browser.

As long as the site is okay, I am fine.

    Thanks again, really!!

In Firefox, try holding down the Shift key while you click the Reload icon. That should force the page to reload from the server rather than from the browser cache.
