• I installed the w3 plug in three months ago but last week the response of the site is too slow.

I tried to download the plgin again from the source site and made changes in the configuration to help the site improve the performance, but nothing.

the site is too slow. I tried scanning for malvare but nothing. I checked the conf, files like timthumb.php. All is working good but the response time is too slow.

    any suggestions,

  • Unless you provide the website URL most people will just ignore this thread. What version of WordPress are you using? Which theme are you running? Do you have a lot of photos on the site? Have these been optimized for load time? Did you or have you made any changes to the cache plugin settings? Have you hassled with disabling any installed plugins 1 by 1 to see if their is a conflict with the combination of plugins being ran?

yes. I have tried to desactivated the plugins one by one. I don’t have large photos and all of them are in png format with less than 100kb. I use embeded videos and docs.

the theme is busybee running in wordpress 3.2.1 the last version. The site runs the w3 total caché.

sometimes the site loads fast but most of the times it is very slow when I try to load particular post and categories.

I checked for malvare or viruses but there is nothing wrong with those.

Have you checked to make sure that your pages are actually being cached by looking at the date / time in the HTML comment at the bottom of various pages?
