Hi there,
Can anyone tell me why my website has reverted to its original blank state? I changed themes to 'Sysbird' a few weeks ago. I added some pics and a bit of writing, just to test it. it seemed fine for a bit. I then did nothing to it for a few weeks, then when i have gone back to it, all progress has disappeared. My Domain support said that reapplying the new theme might bring back my stuff, but it hasn't. Any suggestions? Also, I dont mind starting again as I didnt loose tons of stuff, but I dont want this to happen again. Did i forget to press a big obvious 'save' button or something?

I've had web hosting companies that lost storage (hard drive) on their database server. Then, they just restored from a backup, and didn't tell any of their customers that all changes made for a period of time were lost.
Not guaranteed to be true in your case, but the most likely answer, in my experience. You may want to query your Web Host's Support folks about the issues, mentioning the date you made changes.
Using a baseball analogy, you may want to mark this down as Strike One against your web host. Unless someone else can come up with an explanation.

Thank you for your reply.
The Clook support team said that it was a WordPress issue, but I havn't the skills to determine who is at fault. But I will take your advice, if it happens again I will look for a new domain host.
