Hi, So I have 2 WordPress based sites I built off my template. One is working fine and looks like this:

    http://since78.briangossett.com/

The other looked a lot like this but now looks like this:

    http://briangossett.com/wp/
    http://briangossett.com/wp-admin/

I can’t log in to the admin to fix it either. It all stemmed from when I changed the "Settings/General/WordPress address (URL) and Blog address (URL). Then I tried to move my wordpress files in my (wp) folder on my server to the root HTML folder. I have tried deleting and then uploading my back up that I had before I made this error but I can’t seem to get it going. I am in desperate need of some help in how to get back in to my admin to fix this error and get my site looking how it used to. I just upgraded to 2.7 too btw.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Here's an article from the Codex, maybe it can help:

I went to the link. I tried emptying the cache and removing the cookies. That didn’t work. I then deleted all of my plug ins from the plugins folder. That didn’t work. I tried deleting the wp-login.php file and replaced it with a new file from the download. That didn’t work. I think it has to do with either changing the url or trying to move the wp folder into another directory in my ftp. Anyone else have any specific ideas. That link you provided had too many options db. I appreciate any help. Thanks!

If WP is installed in /wp/, then your admin login is going to be

    http://briangossett.com/wp/wp-admin

It looks like WP is trying to upgrade when you go there.

.. and if you notice that redirected to the wrong url, hence the 403

its here, that that needs to go

    http://briangossett.com/wp/wp-admin/upgrade.php

    which I did

your urls are wrong. thats why your site is f'ed up.

It all stemmed from when I changed the "Settings/General/WordPress address (URL) and Blog address (URL)

    Correct what you screwed up.
