  • You need to delete the index.html file in your hosting account. Apache works in order of default files and on your server index.html is higher in the order then index.php so index.html gets served for any default page.

    It sounds like your priority is viewing index.html with higher priority than index.php.

    You could try re-naming index.html to index-old.html and so it should then look for index.php when it doesn’t find index.html

    I just renamed the index file so I have a copy
