My site does not show up in google search results or any search engine

    my site is thenantas.com.

    When i test it using site:thenantas.com in the google search box, it shows that it is indexed. but should i search with any keywords in any search engine, the site is not there. i also tried using google webmaster tools and it shows the site is not indexed. something is wrong here. did i do something wrong? i tried using the data highlighter in google webmaster tools, went to indexed pages but there is none. i checked with google and i don’t think i was penalised for anything otherwise google webmaster tools would show something. i do not understand why i do not appear in any search engine. this site has been around for about 3 weeks. should i not be in search engines already?

    You are in the search engines, as you said:

    it shows that it is indexed.

    You need to talk to Google about SEO: http://groups.google.com/

    jonabajona107, did you check wordpress “Search Engine Visibility” settings?

    Go to Settings -> Reading -> Search Engine Visibility
    The line “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” has to be unchecked

    I checked my search engine visibility, it is not checked. Let me ask this:
    the boxes for WordPress Address (URL)and Site Address (URL), are they both supposed to be filled? i have http://www.thenantas.com in both, as that is the address of my site. is it supposed to be this way?
