I transitioned from Php-Nuke to WordPress and have finally got it to look like I wanted to. Of course, this is always a work in progress. :)
But please do check out the site and give me comments for changes, additions, and anything else.

Never particularly fond of black backgrounds myself, in this caase though it seems to work, and very nicely at that. Nice job. Valid CSS and (X)HTML, too.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I was also a little weary of the black background, but it does make the links and the text pop out nicely.

Well, after writing the comment above, I just sort of happened to be surfing around, and you'll never guess what I found. Now I just sort of wonder, who came first?

The CSS theme is called Darkfire and it is by B. A. Khan (http://www.3digita.com). I take no credit for it. :)
I'm still trying to get the site up and running with the various features that I want, and then I will work on creating a style of my own..
Beel - I had the blogtimes plugin working in no time following the instructions, from reading the various comments, I thought it was going to be very tough to get working.
