I just started my WP blog, I imported my posts from Blogger and I'm trying to take the elements of my blogger sidebar and put them on my wp side bar. I added them in the admin page, but they won't show up. I added two text widgets and re-ordered the contents of the sidebar. This hasn't updated.
am I doing something wrong?

Are you running a caching program? Have you tried your browser cache.

I did empty the cache in firefox i think, I'm on a mac. I cleared the browsing history. I also deleted cookies.
I'm not sure if that have the same effect of emptying the cache. I looked at my site on another computer and it was still in the wrong order.

I know if I am running WP Super Cache in my WordPress I have delete cached files to see changes. I can also disable the cache plugin as I make changes then I don't have to worry about it.
What did you mean adding them to the Admin page? Do you mean Dashboard? I may not be clear on what is you are trying do.

yes in the dashboard , where you edit your blog. I was adding widgets.

wp super-cache was the problem for me. deactivate it while your editing.
