Actually, this came out pretty nice. Good use of red (sparingly), gray, photos, imagery, etc.
In terms of making it more effective, you might want to consider the order of the top menu. It seems like it's more about her and her products than helping the user (person viewing her site) with their personal training needs.
The one thing I keep learning in marketing, time and time again, it's not about you, it's about them. I understand she wants to sell herself though and that's important, but that comes after you get the person's trust. They need to know you're listening first and really care.
I say all this because I just met with a personal trainer last week. The whole conversation was about him; he never stopped to ask me what I wanted in terms of training. I haven't gone back 'cause it was all about him...
Other than that, the site really pops and should be very successful. Great work. Keep on...
