My Posts have stopped working

    Suddenly all my posts have stopped working, my pages are all fine. I get an error message of Not Found: Sorry, there is nothing to post. Please try another search. I’ve tried a number of posts, all the same problem. I’ve been updating some plugins so assumed this was the root of the problem but i’ve deactivated all the plugins and its still a problem, can anyone help?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I’ve tried it with no success. Same problem on TwentyTen theme, i tried phpadmin and no change, i reset using FTP, no change. At one point i removed the plugins folder completely from the remote site, just as a test, and no plugins were shown on WP admin page, and still i have the posts problem. I’ve added the plugin folder again, but left everything deactivated. No change.

    try switching to default permalink option..
