   Hello,
   My clients has been in touch to say her images aren't showing on her site anymore and when I looked into the site it seems that the plugins have disappeared.

   The "nextgen gallery" that was being used doesn't show as installed anymore but when I try to reinstall it, the loader says it can't install as there is a file with the same name. While I was trying to fix the "nextgen gallery" the "google maps embed" plugin disappeared. When I returned to the plugins page it was gone, but it was there before I tried to start fixing the "next gen" issue.

   Now another plugin that is installed and does still show as installed, is not working anymore!!

   What on earth is going on?

   I'd really appreciate some help here. Thank you.

   The only way a plugin can disappear from the server is if someone deletes it. Does your client have access to the server?
