[resolved] my own sites related posts vs related links from the web (2 posts)

    Hello,
    Along with my own sites related posts, I would like to have the "Related articles across the web" functionality too.
    I turned this on by check the "Display widget with articles from around the web in your "Compose-new-post" page" checkbox,
    but my problem is, the related links from the web are displayed first, before my own website's links.
    I tried turning off the "Auto Insert Related Posts" checkbox and added <?php wp_related_posts()?> to my single post template
    but couldn't position it above "related links from the web".
    Relted posts were displayed either just under the title, or under "related links from the web".
    Is there anything else I can do?
    Because it's really awkward and wrong in my opinion to display external links before displaying my own.
    Thank you.
    <?php wp_related_posts()?>

    Hey, thanks for reaching out & I would gladly help you out, but I'm afraid this just isn't possible.

    The thing is, those related articles from around the web that are showing up first cannot be moved around, since they are inserted into the body of your blog posts and are not a separate widget of some kind that could be moved around.

    Which is why it isn't possible to move those related articles from around the web (that you insert when composing new posts or edit old ones) around, as you can those that are added when the blog post is already published (your own ones).

    I'm really sorry for not being able to help you out, but I'm afraid there's just no other way around. Hope you understand!

    But do let me know if you have any more questions or if there's anything else that I can help you with, since I'll gladly do it! Take care & have a nice day!

    Best,
    Silvo
