   I might not understand what WordPress installed on a web server is supposed to do. I installed it okay and tweaked all the settings the way I want them. But when I go to my website, I still see my old web pages . . . no WordPress pages show up anywhere. I thought the WordPress interface was supposed to become the new interface for my website.

   Is that correct? If so, how do I get WordPress to show up when I enter in my website URL?

   Hi,
   Check that you don't have index.htm or default.htm in your root directory.
   Clear your cache on your browser, browsers tend to hold a lot of site information
   Make sure you have a .htaccess file in your root directory
   Ensure that index.php is in the WP installed directory
