• Hi, I just made my photoblog using the theme Polaroid by Taly and implementing these plugins: Custom Query String, Disable WPAutop, Next/Previous Post in same category, Random Excerpt (is not working), and WP Paginate (I have no idea what this does or how to use it).

I would like to find a plugin that when clicking on the photo would take you to the previous photo.

I want the photos themselves to be the main focus of the site so I don’t how the comment option will work out. I don’t know if the comments will show up beneath the picture or pop up on a seperate window.

Please take a look and give any suggestions you see that would make it better. Are the photo sizes too large? Should I add something, is it too plain?

    Thanks

  • maybe add exif data, or have arrows on the left and right side of the image to navigate. the photos are kind of large, considering i have a very high resolution monitor and it just barely fits. you could use lightbox so that it doesn’t navigate to another page if you click on the image, it just maximizes it.

Thank you. I’m not familiar with exif data, but I do have the previous/next navigation links at top of each picture. I do have lightbox, but will have to learn how to use it.

nice work .. really simple layout .. but good presentation …

There is a gallery plugin called ANIGA gallery which uses thumbnails instead of the words PREV and NEXT. You can see it working on my site at http://www.wurster.ws/wordpress/.

Thanks for all the replies and helpful info. I found out what EXIF means! I can’t believe I hadn’t learned that yet.
