    Everytime I try to use
they disappear in my html, is there an easy fix to this?

Has anyone seen this issue before? It happens when I am adding a new post and type <br /> is there a setting somewhere that filters it out?

  3. What editor are you using? The plain HTML one or the Visual Editor?

The html one, when it saves it shows the <br /> but when I go to view my index source it doesn't have the in there.

I used to have that problem as well but the fix was just using the HTML editor instead. Definitely Double Check.

I tried that, I can't even attempt to add lines by pressing enter in the visual editor, it doesn't work.

Still under A LOT of construction.

  8. I see them just fine...

<p>Draco-Americanus tex (American Amphithere or Moth
Dragon) is a dragon that is much like a serpent.
It has no legs but is rather furry. It has wings
which resemble moth wings. It’s about 15 ft.
long and 8-10 ft. tall. They are usually greenish
and can breathe fire and can cause a lot of destruction
with its tail. They can also be a irredescent purple,
red, blue, green, yellow, or brown. They are also
known for their bite and snapping attack. They eat
all kinds of animals, usually those abundant in the
area, focusing on llamas, usually more in the south,
and buffalo in the north. They build nests off the
shore of islands or even lakesides and use reeds.<br />

Draco-Americanus mex (Mexican Amphithere) is similiar to
a Draco-Americanus tex except it has feathery wings instead
of moth-like wings and their colorations can also range
from an irridescent green, to blue, black, or red. They
are a bit taller than the tex, they can get up to 45 ft.
    long and 5-10 ft. tall.<br />
    Draco-Americanus Incognito (South American Amphithere)
They can be rainbow color or tan and can get up to 30 ft.
long and 5-10 ft. tall. They like to eat large mammals
    and attacks animals by constriction.</p>

when I switch back to html viewer it doesn't show them, and they don't work when I try to use multiple to create a line seperation.

I ended up ghetto rigging it and adding margins to the top of each paragraph.. but if anyone knows how to get the br to work I would be interested.

  12. I'm afraid that BR is working just fine, as YOU just posted, it's there in your HTML source. This means it's working.

But its not, look at the difference between the source in wordpress vs the actual site source. I have br's before the paragraphs start

  14. They shouldn't be outside the <p>'s anyway, that's invalid HTML.

If you want more space between paragraphs, you should be using CSS to change that, not forcing in breaks. If you MUST force in breaks, try like this:

    <p>Foobar in the plaza. <br /><br /></p>
    <p>Plaza foobar. <br /><br /></p>
